The story of a woman caught within an abusive marriage who awakes with relief to find her husband is out of the house. The intro shows a pin drop quiet and meticulous home yet shows visible signs of neglectful distress. She uses this alone time to take a pregnancy test and as she looks in the mirror holding her stomach her face is blurred by the soap scum on the bathroom mirror. The master bathroom shows peeling paint and no door knob: a testament to the insidious behavior that occurs within. The abstract cow painting in the kitchen stares at her for even when alone she feels watched, while her possibly pregnant belly is magnified by the stainless steel tea kettle. Everything in the house seems to be watching her even while he is away.
